The Long Walk is a heart‑led adventure story about three young yetis - Idaho, Flint and Raven - who set out on a traditional journey through the forest to discover what they’re made of. Along the way they meet challenges, choices, surprises and moments that test their courage, curiosity and resilience.

It’s a story about growing up, trying new things, getting things wrong, and trying again. It shows that bravery isn’t loud - it ’s something that grows quietly inside you with every step you take.

At its core, The Long Walk is a gentle, imaginative way to help children explore Growth Mindset, emotional literacy and the idea that learning happens through doing, not through perfection.

Alongside the main story, children can explore Flint’s Book, a scrapbook‑style companion filled with polaroids from the journey and short reflections written in Flint’s own voice. Each page captures: a moment from the story, a snapshot from the route, and a Growth Mindset learning Flint discovered along the way.

Her entries are funny, honest, and wonderfully 12‑year‑old - showing children that it’s okay to feel wobbly, to try again, to ask questions and to learn as you go. Flint’s Book turns the story into something personal and relatable, helping children see themselves in her experiences.
